Follow these four steps to make your move as smooth and stress-free as possible.
So you've agreed a sale/purchase. Whilst a typical sale takes around 16 weeks in total, it's never too early to start getting some quotes. We can come out and provide a free home visit — we're not pushy and there's no obligation, but viewing your property in person lets us see and discuss all the requirements, so that we can provide a fixed-cost quote.
Call us or WhatsApp — we'll arrange a free home visit at a time that suits you.
Never exchange and complete on the same day if you can avoid it. Give yourself — and your removal company — at least one full working week between exchange and completion so logistics can be firmly confirmed.
Once you're close to exchange, confirm your removal date with us. We'll hold the date provisionally and confirm it the moment you exchange — this is the point contracts become legally binding and your move date is set.
We supply high-quality packing boxes and materials — delivered to your door at a time that suits you. Choose from single-use cardboard boxes or reusable lidded plastic crates (no rush to return — we collect them after you've settled in).

We recommend booking 3–6 weeks in advance, especially during peak times (summer and month-end). However, we can often accommodate urgent moves with shorter notice — give us a call and we'll always do our best.
A typical house move takes 4–8 hours depending on property size and distance. We'll provide an accurate timeframe when giving your quote, so you can plan the day properly.
Both options work well. Professional packing saves time and ensures proper protection, especially for fragile items. Self-packing is more economical but requires preparation time. We're happy to advise when we visit for your quote.
Contact us immediately if your completion date changes. We'll do our best to accommodate the new date. For last-minute changes on the day itself, we may need to arrange temporary storage — we'll talk you through the options.
Lightweight clothing can stay in drawers, but please empty heavy items and fragile contents. Wardrobes should be empty so we can safely move them. We'll advise on specifics when we come out for your free home visit.
